Not characters, but people who feel real: the colleague who speaks too fast, the one who avoids conflict, the one who always has a “quick question.” Managers met them in lesson one and kept meeting them as situations got more complex.
Humor with the company’s voice
Dogs appear when you need support. Cats show up when irony helps. Small elements that whisper: “Hey, you’re doing great. Keep going.”
Short episodes, connected. Something you want to continue, not “complete.” Because learning works better when it feels like reading a series you don’t want to close.
We also added a Reflection section to help them connect the material to their own real context.
practice that feels meaningful
Inside the lessons, we added interactive moments — as much as the LMS allowed — to help learners actively retrieve and process information. And right after each lesson, managers stepped straight into a case-solving section: responding to conflicts, setting goals, untangling misunderstandings, giving feedback that doesn’t sting.
